Fast swimming in Victoria at BC AA Championships

What a great 1st day at BC AA Championships in Victoria for the VKSC swimmers. In the Boys 11 & under 1500 m Freestyle final, Braden Kersey won a Gold medal with a personal best time and 10 & under LC Boys Club Record of 23:15.78. Nick Phillips won a Silver medal in the Boys 11 & under 1500 m Freestyle final with a personal best time of 24:01.95. Sean Manchester won a Silver medal in the Boys 14 year olds 1500 m Freestyle final with a time of 20:43.38.
In the Boys 11 & under 200 m IM final, Zac Benn started finals with a 1st place and a personal best time of 2:57.58. Congratulations Zac for winning your first Gold Medal at  BC AA Championships and making your BC AAA time standard. In the Boys 14 year olds 200 m IM final, Sean Manchester came 1st with a personal best time of 2:40.98. Great job Sean. Congratulations for winning your first Gold Medal at BC AA Championships. Regan Peace came 3rd in the Boys 12 year olds LC 50 m Freestyle final with a personal best time of 31.40. Zac Benn came 1st in the Boys 12 year olds 100 m Backstroke final with a personal best time of 1:22.57, making another BC AAA time standard.Way to go Zac. Regan Peace came 2nd in the Boys 12 year olds 100 m Backstroke final with a personal best time of 1:19.08 and making his BC AAA time standard. Way to go Regan.
In the Boys 12 & under 200 m Freestyle final the VKSC boys came 3rd with a personal best time of 2:17.23. More finals tonight Zac Benn (4th in the 50m Freestyle with a PB of 34.08)), Braden Kersey ((6th in the 50 m Freestyle with a PB of 34.23) Sean Manchester(4th in the 100 m Backstroke). Personal best times today for Anika Kintzel and Alexandra Shortt (200 m IM), Brooke Meeks (50 m Freestyle). Way to go Kokanees!
