Fast swimming at the KAJ Snow Fest Swim Meet last weekend. On Saturday January 21, Florian Terpstra swam to a
17 & over Canadian Western Time Standard in the 200 m Breaststroke with a time of 2:31.68 and on Sunday January 22,
Florian got another 16 & under Canadian Western Time Standard in the 100 m Breaststroke with a time of 1:10.63.
Meredith Levorson also swam to a 15 & under Canadian Western Time Standard in the 200 m Backstroke with a time of 2:26.51.
Congratulations to both of you for this great accomplishment. This means two more qualifiers for the Canadian Western
Championships in Winnipeg, February 16-19, 2012. 6 swimmers will represent the VKSC in Winnipeg.

Congratulations to Chloe Grenier for achieving her 1st BC AAA time standard for Girls 11 & under. Chloe swam the 50 m
Freestyle in a time of 32.08. This means that Chloe can race at the BC AAA Championships in Surrey from March 1-4, 2012.

Salmon Arm, January 15, 2012
What a great day of racing. 6 swimmers swam faster than 4 minutes on the 200 IM.
Congratulations to Morgan Mardiros (3:53.65), Madeline Roemer (3:53.55), Aidri Hofer (3:40.54),
Morgan Johnson (3:49.57), Zac Benn (3:33.18) and Soleil Pitcher (3:47.72).
